Tuition and Policies

Tuition rates are based on the entire school year & include all classes & recital rehearsals from September through June.  Above Tuition prices are based 30-60 minute classes.  90 Minute class pricing available upon request.  

Please speak with us regarding special pricing for dancers attending 6+ classes per week.  
A special Unlimited rate is available.

Payment Policy 
There are three payment options:

  1. Pay balance off your child's tuition by September 30 and save 10% off your tuition bill.
  2. Make two payments, the first payment is due September 30 and the second is due January 30, and receive a 5% discount off your dancer's tuition.
  3. Make nine payments - due on the FIRST of each month September through May and do not receive a discount.

There is a non-refundable, $20 registration fee. 

SDPAC requires that all dancers have a credit card on file.  If, after 15 days, a payment has not been received, that card will be charged with the balance due, plus a 3.5% processing fee on the next day of classes.  Bounced check fees are twenty-five dollars. There is no reimbursement for missed classes. If your child should decide to discontinue classes, please put this in writing and send it to Stage Door Performing Arts Center, P. O. Box 1274, Corning, NY 14830. TELLING THE DANCER’S TEACHER IS NOT ENOUGH. Stage Door must receive your notice in writing to remove you from billing. Until the note is received, you will be billed for class. Delinquent accounts will be sent to collections

Costume Deposit & Recital Fee

All students performing in the recital must pay a COSTUME DEPOSIT fee of 45.00 per class by November 15th. The remainder of your costume bill will be sent to you after January 1. Costume orders are placed over the winter break to ensure a timely arrival for our recital. Some orders can take up to 16 weeks for delivery. Costume orders will not be held up for late payments. To ensure your costume is ordered, please pay on time. Failure to do so could jeopardize your receiving a costume, as some costumes do “sell out” and may not be available for a late order. If your order is late, you will be responsible for any extra fees associated with the order (e.g. shipping/handling, rush order etc.). 

Please be aware that costume fees are non-refundable. Once your child's costume is ordered, you are responsible for the bill. This includes if your child discontinues dance after costumes have been ordered as we are unable to cancel costumes with the costume companies.

Your student's Recital Fee is due by the end of April. This $70 fee per/Family helps with the rental of the recital facility, all ticket and program printing costs, as well as any other miscellaneous costs.
